Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany ("IONOS"). IONOS processes usage data, meta and communications data on our behalf in order to provide this website reliably and securely. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of this website) and on an Art. 28 GDPR data processing agreement concluded with IONOS. Server log files

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser transmits to us: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, the date and time of the request, and the IP address used. This data is not merged with other data sources. It is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical stability and security of this website) and is retained only for a limited period, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Self-hosted analytics (cookieless)

We run our own, self-hosted web analytics (Umami) on our own infrastructure - no data is shared with any third party for this purpose. This tool does not use cookies or any other identifier stored on your device, and does not build a profile of individual visitors. It records only aggregate information such as which pages were viewed, how long a page was open, how far a page was scrolled, and which site or search engine referred you. IP addresses are used only transiently, hashed together with your browser's user agent using a salt that changes every day, to avoid double-counting the same visitor within a day - the hash cannot be reversed and cannot be linked to you across days.

Because no cookies or comparable device storage are used, this processing does not require your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / § 25 TTDSG. It is instead based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding, in aggregate, how our website is used, so that we can improve it - without tracking any individual visitor over time.

This website uses cookies. Strictly necessary cookies, required for the basic operation of the site, are set automatically on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Optional cookies - such as those used for Google Analytics - are only set if you actively consent via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25 TTDSG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Google Analytics 4

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies that enable an analysis of how you use this website. The information generated is transmitted to and stored by Google, which may include transfers to Google LLC in the United States on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. IP addresses are shortened by Google within the European Economic Area prior to any such transfer. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google covering this processing.

Google Analytics is only activated after you actively consent via our cookie banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Waitlist signup (Brevo)

If you sign up for our launch waitlist, the email address you provide is transmitted to and stored by Brevo SAS, a company based in Paris, France ("Brevo"), which sends you updates about our launch on our behalf. Processing is based on your consent, given by submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example via the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or by contacting us using the details above. Your rights

You have the right to request access to, rectification, or erasure of your personal data, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to its processing, subject to the conditions set out in Art. 15-21 GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority - in particular the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta (idpc.org.mt), where the controller is based, or the supervisory authority of your own place of residence.
