Team & Access Control - Enterprise Permissions Without the Enterprise Price

Applosive includes role-based permissions, MFA with TOTP, single active session enforcement, invitation-based onboarding, and shared saved views for catalog teams of any size.

Product information management is a team sport: buyers, content editors, marketers, and developers all touch catalog data - but they don't all need the same access. Applosive gives you enterprise-grade access control that's easy to configure and doesn't require a separate identity management system.

Role-based permissions

Applosive ships with three built-in roles: Admin, Editor, and Viewer. Permissions are granular per feature area: a content editor can update product descriptions but not touch pricing rules; a viewer can browse the catalog but not export. Roles are customizable when the defaults don't fit your org structure.

Invitation-based onboarding

Invite team members by email with a specific role. They receive an invitation link, set their password, and are ready to work. No IT ticket, no manual account creation - the right access level is set at invite time.

MFA with TOTP

Every user can enable two-factor authentication using any TOTP authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.). Admin accounts are required to enroll in MFA; other roles can opt in voluntarily today, with a per-role enforcement toggle on the roadmap. Admins can reset MFA for users who lose their device.

Single active session

When a user logs in from a new device or browser, their previous session is automatically revoked. This prevents unauthorized access from stale sessions and is particularly useful for shared or contractor accounts.

Shared saved views

Product filter presets - a specific family, a completeness range, a brand, a channel status - can be saved and shared with the team. Everyone working the same catalog area starts from the same filtered view, reducing setup time and preventing "where was that filter again?" conversations.

Shared column layouts

Customize which columns appear in the product list and save the layout. Share layouts with the team so editors see the columns relevant to their work - content columns for writers, price columns for buyers - without each person having to configure their own view.
